严肃文学和类型文学的边界在逐渐消失，文学正变得越来越不“严肃”。

　　《使女的故事》《别让我走》《2666》《我的天才女友》等在评论界获得不俗反响、又拥有广泛读者的“严肃小说”，似乎都在某种程度上借鉴了类型小说的方法和元素；反过来，雷蒙德·钱德勒、厄休拉·勒古恩、斯塔尼斯瓦夫·莱姆等“类型小说”作家，似乎也正在挣脱其固有的标签，被迎入“严肃文学”的万神殿。

　　如何面对“严肃”与“类型”的这种交融？它是象征着娱乐文化入侵文学，还是代表着一股新的文学潮流？严肃文学对类型文学的借鉴，意味着活力，还是“堕落”？身为读者，应当如何看待这种交融，是提出“严肃点！文学”式的呵斥，还是继续沿着这个交叉点，享受这种交融带来的新体验？

　　带着这些问题上路，《鲤》邀请数十位创作者一起讨论、思索，给出自己的观点或方法。这些文字也许无法提供最终的答案，但至少可以提供一些路标，为读者在这个问题上的自行探索提供些许帮助。

The boundary between serious literature and genre literature is gradually disappearing, and literature is becoming less and less "serious".

"The Handmaid's Tale", "Never Let Me Go", "2666", "My Genius Girlfriend" and other "serious novels", which have received good reviews and wide readers, seem to learn from the methods and elements of genre novels to some extent; Conversely, writers of "genre fiction" such as Raymond Chandler, Ursula LeGuen, and Stanislaw Lem seem to be breaking away from their stereotypes and being welcomed into the pantheon of "serious literature."

How to face this blend of "seriousness" and "type"? Does it symbolize the invasion of entertainment culture into literature, or does it represent a new literary trend? Does the reference of serious literature to genre literature mean vitality or "depravity"? As a reader, how to view this blend is to ask, "Be serious! "Literary" type of reprimands, or continue along the intersection and enjoy the new experience of this communion?

With these problems on the road, "Carp" invited dozens of creators to discuss, think, and give their own views or methods. These texts may not provide the final answer, but they can at least provide some signposts to help readers navigate this question on their own.
